Special Sessions
Call For Special SessionsProposal TemplateA Special Session can be presented in a variety of different ways. Special sessions can be a group of six papers, organized on the initiative of any volunteer proposing no more than two papers. IEMDC will also accept formal presentations, informal talks, panel discussions , or organizers can create own style (will be evaluated by special session chairs). Special sessions complement the regular technical program by focusing on emerging research topics of growing interest within the scope of the conference. For special sessions with six papers: the special session paper will also go through the same peer review process as a regular paper for IEMDC, and the final paper will be referred in IEEEXplore. Please avoid submitting special session proposals that are not specific enough or are too general. Special Session organizers should invite experts in the targeted topic to contribute to the special session. Papers submitted to special sessions will undergo the same review process as regular papers. The special session organizers are responsible for organizing the review process of their respective special session. Special Session proposals should include the following information (please use the template provided above):
- Title of the special session
- Special session organizers: Names, affiliations, and email addresses
- Abstract: A brief description of no more than 200 words explaining the focus of the special session
- Topics of interest
- List of potential authors: Names, affiliations, and email addresses
- List of potential reviewers: Names, affiliations, and email addresses
